Marshals

The 2018 Rockingham Stages will be held on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd December and we are once again looking for volunteers to help with marshalling the rally. As we were looking for marshals on two successive days we provided free bed & breakfast for a number of marshals who sign on to both days. Please note that the start time on Saturday is now 11:30 (30 minutes earlier than previous years).

If you would like to be involved, contact the Chief Marshal, Rob Bowsher  – marshals@rockinghamstages.co.uk –  Click here to download the 2018 Marshal’s Enrolment form (PDF format). You can also contact Rob at 07734 285062

2017 Appendix O – First on Scene

The organisers would like to thank everyone who have helped make previous events a success and in particular the marshals who spent the whole day out in the cold and without whom the event would not have run.

Bed and Breakfast

We have 40 spaces available (first come first served) in the local Scout facility for an overnight stay. There’s ample free parking at this location.

Facilities

Along with various gifts in a goody-back you’ll receive at sign-on, there will be prize draws for both days as a thankyou for your support. There will be free tea and coffee at sign-on, and you will have a discount voucher for the Raceway Café.

Vehicle access for Radio Crews / Marshals

In previous years rumours were circulating among potential marshals and radio crews that they would be unable to take their vehicles onto the circuit and will be bussed to their posts.

While this is true for Race meetings it DOES NOT APPLY to the Rally. All the radio cars and most of the marshals will be able to use their vehicles. There may be a few points where marshals will be unable to park their vehicles and will have a short walk from their cars – but that is no different to any other stage rally. All marshals within the centre of the circuit will have vehicle access to the centre of the circuit.
